Yangon – Putao – Myitkyina – Mandalay – Yangon

YT.10. (11 Days/10 Nights) Tour

Day 1. Yangon Arrival

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our tour guide and transfer to hotel. Special evening visit to the massive Shwedagon pagoda, one of the wonders of the world for its religious significance and Myanmar lavishness, artistic beauty and its association with Myanmar culture. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 2. Yangon – Putao ( By Flight )

Arrive at Putao. Transfer to Hotel and make check-in. In the afternoon sightseeing to Fort which was built during the colonial time and Jaungdan Tharthana Pyu Monastery and Pagoda, trekking around the Mounggnor and visit the famous Legend Stone Dragon and nearest Villages. Overnight at Putao.
 

Day 3. Putao – Machanbaw - Kaung Mu – Lon ( By Car )

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Machanbaw by car after 6 miles of tarred road and 8 miles of cobbled road and can be reached by crossing cable bridge suspended over the Malikha River on foot. Machanbaw Town is on the east bank of Malikha river and endowed with beautiful and interesting natural scenery. Along the way varieties of birds and many different kinds of butterflies can be seen. Fruits such as Oranges, Grapefruits, Washington's, King Fruits and Blood Fruits are abundance in this beautiful town.

And then proceed to Kaung Mu Lon. Visit to Hta Wa  Dame village beside Malikha River 9 miles far from Putao by car and crossing the Malikha River by raft or boat and hiking upstream for 5 furlong and reach the historical Kaung Mu Lon Pagoda built by the Khanti Shan Tribes. Drive back to Putao. Overnight at Putao.

Day 4. Putao – Mulashedi ( By Car )

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning drive to Mulashedi, a small village situated on the Myitkyina – Putao Motorway and beside the Mulashedi stream. The main attraction are beautiful surrounding, different kinds of birds and orchids, some Lisu Villages and the suspended Mulashedi Cable Bridge which can be crossed by jeep. Drive back to Putao. Overnight at Putao.

Day 5. Putao – Myitkyina ( By Flight )

Breakfast at Hotel. In the morning sightseeing to around the local market if time permits and transfer to airport for departure flight to Myitkyina. Arrive at Myitkyina and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon visit Thetkya Marazein Andawshin ( Tooth Relic ) Pagoda with a number of monasteries within its precincts; Lawka Man Aung Hsu Taungpyi Pagoda built in AD 1118 by King Alaung Sithu, over looking the Ayeyawady River. Overnight at Myitkyina.

Day 6. Myitkyina ( Sightseeing )

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning visit Myit – Hson ( Confluence ) of Maykha and Malikha to form the Majestic Ayeyawady 28 miles far from Myitkyina and enjoy the great scenic beauties. Then excursion to near by Rawan and Janephaw villages. And then return and visit the Kareinnaw Yeiktha, admist rocks and mountains where there are restaurants and stalls. Drive back and overnight at Myitkyina.

Day 7. Myitkyina – Mandalay ( By Flight )

Breafast at Hotel. Transfer to airport for departure flight to Manndalay. Arrive Mandalay airport and then drive to Mandalay for hotel check – in. In the evening visit the most venerable Mahamuni Pagoda; Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops: marble works, woodcarvings, gold-leaf making and tapestry works. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 8. Mandalay – Amarapura – Ava – Sagaing – Mandalay ( By Flight )

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning excursion to ancient capital Amarapura, old royal city before Mandalay. Tour highlights are Maha-gandayon Monastery (Buddhist University); U Bein Wooden Bridge, over 150 years long wooden bridge and silk weaving industry. Then proceed to Ava (Inwa), once a royal capital for four times which is visited by horse cart, to visit Bagaya Monastery, Nanmyint Watch Tower and Maha Aungmye Bonzan brick monastery.

In the afternoon sightseeing's in Sagaing are Ywataung Village, well-known for its silver craftsmen; Kaunghmudaw, an enormous solid dome-shaped pagoda; and picturesque Sagaing Hills, offer panoramic view of the valleys and a retreat for Buddhist saints. Afterthat drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 9. Mandalay – Mingun – Manadalay ( By Boat / Car )

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning excursion to Mingun by boat, 11 km. upriver from Mandalay, on the western bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights include: huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda; Sattawya Pagoda with marble foot-print of Buddha; Mingun Bell, which weights 90 tons- the largest untracked ringing bell in the world and Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces. Then return to Mandalay, 45 minute boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life along the Ayeyarwaddy River.

Afternoon sightseeing to Mandalay to visit the most venerable Mahamuni Pagoda; Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops: marble works, woodcarvings, gold-leaf making and tapestry works; Mandalay Royal Palace; Zegyo Market; Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures, and Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 10. Mandalay – Yangon ( By Flight )

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. Afternoon sightseeing to Kaba - Aye (World Peace) Pagoda; Chaukhtatkyi, a colossal reclining Buddha Image; and National Museum. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 11. Yangon Departure

Afternoon sightseeing to Bogyoke Aung San Market; Myanmar famous gems and jewellery sales centers and Sule Pagoda with the specific octagonal shape. Evening transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.

Note: There are no daily flight to the Putao. For this tour program day 1 will be start on Every Monday. Travelling to Putao need permission. It takes nearly one month to get the permission. To apply permission we need the information of the clients as follow:

Special Extension Tour Program For Relax

Day 1.Yangon- Thandwe - Ngapali (By Flight)

Breakfast at Hotel.Transfer to airport for flight Yangon-Thandwe. After arriving in Thandwe, 20 minutes drive to Ngapali beach. Located on the shores of the Bays of Bengal, this beautiful beach with white sand beach and crystal clear sea water. Overnight at Ngapali Beach.

Day 2. Ngapali Beach At Leisure
